Bormio wheels are handbuilt. The rims are put in a jig to check for concentricity and trueness before the wheel-build begins. Torelli uses Pillar spokes, the finest and most expensive spokes made in Asia. Bormio wheels come in 2 versions. Bormio wheels use flat aero spokes as pictured. Bormio SL wheels have triple-butted round spokes. Hubs are sealed bearing with a serviceable cassette body. Rims are 440 grams with machined braking surfaces.
